Based on your interests, we’ll match you with a career specialist who knows the industry inside and out. Plus, it’s easy to network with Carthage graduates working in similar fields. You can even attend a professional conference without leaving campus.

Learn by Doing

Valuable hands-on experience can give you an early edge in the competitive job market.

  • Internships: Our prime location between Milwaukee and Chicago puts internships with all kinds of companies and organizations within reach. If you find a great opportunity that just doesn’t pay enough, Carthage has funding available.
  • Study Abroad: Whether they learn overseas for a year, a semester, or just a few weeks through our popular J-Term study tours, students consistently return transformed.
  • Research: Here, original research is part of every student’s journey. Faculty in the sciences lead experiments with big-time partners like NASA, but all majors require a scholarly project to graduate.
